Hey Robin & Kyle we all missed you this morning! Our row felt very empty!!

Grayson – everyone is asking how you’re doing & I show him your big smile (and sorority squat on point) and tell them I think you’ve for sure found your heart a second home. We love you & miss you. Can’t wait to see that smile in person!

Students…I think you have hit the jackpot for leaders. Show them some extra love!!

Big prayers for what’s ahead & as more stories are shared…and that you’ve gotten your fettuccine Alfredo already!

  9. I’ve never been more proud of Kyle than reading that he’s being the dad and telling the students to go to bed!

My small group guys talked about their high and low for the week. One of them said that their low was missing their friends in the Philippines. And then they made fun of each of you! 🙂

so happy to have Sara back, but we need you too!! Who is going to drive Sara around all week and feed her??

Sounds like you guys are continuing to make many wonderful memories. It also sounds like you just might be catching up on your sleep – just in time to head home and deal with the jet lag all over again. Yikes!! At least we are leaving for the beach. You can sleep under the umbrella all day long. I may hold your hand the whole time though!!!

Prayers for a wonderful last few days and extra prayers for fettuccine Alfredo!!!!

  19. Love that you are seeing parallels between Quest and your church experiences at home. We are proud of all of you dancing, singing, worshipping, and sharing your stories. You are all so brave, strong, and inspiring. What an amazing group of young people you are! We can’t wait to hear you recount your journey once you return home (soon!). Praying you are all still healthy and enjoyed some fettuccine Alfredo!! Hoping you got lots accomplished at your elementary school today, and will enjoy some much deserved rest and relaxation at Bohol Beach tomorrow! Enjoy every moment. Gabby-we miss you so very much! Don’t count on taking your new car anywhere when you get home-we are going to make you stay home and hang out with us for a couple days! Love you! Mom, Dad, Will, and Stella

  21. What a week y’all have had! It’s really weird since I miss you so much and want nothing more than for you to come home , but as I read these final posts I feel the sadness that I know you feel right now as this amazing trip comes to the end. You have experienced so much this week and I am so happy for you. God has been preparing my heart for you to go away to college and this was a big test for me. You always used to cry at the end of our vacations because you have such a sentimental heart. I can only imagine the moments you have experienced this week that will forever be woven in your memory. That brings me joy. I love you so so much Elise and cannot wait to hear about everything -and to celebrate your birthday that is coming up next week. I thank God for the day He gave you to me. Love you Mom

  22. BBIO wasn’t the same without all of you but excited to hear that you experienced IO Philippines style. I was asked about your trip by everyone! You are all missed and have no idea how many people are praying for all of you!! And such an inspiration for the ones about to leave on mission trips. Perfect timing to post an update while we were still at IO.

Halle, we are so proud that you shared your testimony. I may have told one or two or a dozen people and maybe even put in on my Instagram. 😉 Your SG leaders, Transit & IO staff, my IO SG and family & friends are thinking about you, praying for you and some are following the blog even tho they may not comment. They all can’t wait to see you after you rest up and spend some time at home!!

To the team- As time winds down, I can imagine how hard it will be to leave. Continue to take in every moment! Know that you are making a difference in all the lives of the people that you come in contact with, including each other. Most importantly, embrace the change God is making in you, thru this trip. Our message at IO was about labels. I pray when you look in the mirror, you see what God sees.

Love and prayers from the Daube Family
